Our Contra Costa Con Star Wars Celebration has SOLD OUT 3 years in a row and we expect the same in 2026 as we also fete Star Trek. We will celebrate the 1966 debut of the ground-breaking Star Trek TV show plus the 40th Anniversary of Star Trek: The Voyage Home and the 10th Anniversary of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Over 2 dozen Star Trek & Star Wars universe personalities will be on hand at Contra Costa Con.
Contra Costa Con is all about Pop Culture with toys, artists and illustrators, LEGO, comics, anime, jewelry, art, books and apparel plus new and vintage collectibles. Contra Costa Con features free all-ages Star Wars and Star Trek cosplay costume contests with cash prizes.
Knowing that there currently is a degree of economic uncertainty and lower than usual consumer confidence, we are NOT increasing exhibitor fees at 2026 Bay Area Festivals Contra Costa Cons and we are doubling the marketing budget on all our events as well. We have a very aggressive marketing campaign planned for social media, email and online. We again promote free $2 Toy Bucks to encourage attendees.
